Trauma and its Wisdom

Trauma, simply said, can shape the way we live, the way we love, and the way we make sense of the world. It can be the root of our deepest wounds and usually the reason a connection is broken in our mind and/or body.

When we experience a trigger, our body remembers our traumatic experiences on a somatic level along with all the learned defense mechanisms we have put in place to protect ourselves.

But…..healing from this trauma is not only possible, but also a very personal journey and what may work for one person may not work for everyone. The root of the trauma each individual needs to come to is truth. What version of reality do you need to force yourself to see beyond the shadows and misconceptions that are carried with us from past experiences? What can be shed away to cast a little light on the current situation?

Now, confronting your old and new trauma can be very intimidating and stressful, so this is where I want to meet you. Through guided breathwork, acupuncture, and sound healing you can meet your trauma and give it some space to be held and acknowledged. You can make time for yourself to give it some strength to move forward and some permission to heal. You can allow your community to hold space for you and recycle some of story that is no longer serving you.

If you take away anything from this, I hope it is that your anxiety, stress, depression, what have you is REAL. You are allowed to feel these feelings, but they do not define you!

  • You are not alone

  • You are allowed to struggle

  • What happens to you doesn’t define you

  • It’s ok to be where you are right now

  • You are safe

  • It’s ok to let it go and move on

  • You deserve to heal

  • You are enough

  • You are loved
